I haven't read your post on the TOS blog, yet. I'm just wondering, first, is this guy, Lamm still living, or did he perform his duty and die, yet?
(Come to think of it, it's like Ayn Rand relayed to us, from someone she read about, there's only 1 thing we HAVE to do: die. But, that's not what Lamm meant. He meant it more like an obligation we OUGHT to take on, like, maybe die sooner than we have to.)

I read Mulshine. Conservatives say that's the way markets work. No. That's the way gvt. in health care works. The market just ever so slightly works around the way gvt.in health care works, until gvt. neutralizes that slightness with more of its works, as per the implied perverted non-morality, unstoppable, facing only practical objections minus moral backing.
The death panel (I already forget the euphemistic official name) is not a remnant of the market. It's an arbitrary exercise of power funded by taxes (loot) under cover of the guise of law & gvt. It bears no relation to what the market would do, not even if the market was to make choices giving the exact same outcome, because of the fundamental difference in cause: force or choice.
